Almost there!

Posted by Josh Meyer on

At the time of this writing, we only have 1 bike left for sale. We've had 6 bike sales in the last 48 hours and it feels like the first stage of this roller coaster is coming into the station. I cannot thank you all enough for the enthusiasm, support and purchases so far. We couldn't have done it without you!

A few days ago, I sent out a personal video message to all of our customers to date to inform them of a slight delay that we've had on our frames due to uncontrollable slowdowns at various stages in our supply chain caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic. Despite our daily steadfast work and unique timing during this crisis (and a all-engines-go approach in the early days while others paused, we were still affected, but not by much.

However, the support we have received from you supporters in the face of the that bad news has been incredibly uplifting, invigorating and humbling. I thank you all once again.

The next immediate stages include receiving our parts (which we have already begun to receive), assemble in our partner Michael Baker's facility in Ft Worth, Texas, check over all parts, and ship to you. We will be checking in during the assembly process where I, Michael Baker and other founding partner Pete Kelly will be hand assembling these bikes ourselves. Our only focus at this moment is to get these bikes out to each and every customer as expeditiously as possible. I cannot wait for all the videos and photos of unboxing, first rides and reviews. What a trip!

But this is not the end -- just the end of what we have internally been calling "Phase 1". Phase 2 will be an IndieGoGo campaign in September. We are pouring every dollar of earnings into the creation and promotion of that campaign, from content to digital advertising and more. We're not taking our thumb off the throttle anytime soon and the next bit will be even more wild!

More details and excitement to come, but let me close this blog post by saying thank you once again. You first Zoozers should think of yourselves as founders as well. While we literally bleed for this, we truly couldn't have done it without you.

I bleed for this.
