The Ripster has 20” wheels, our smallest battery size and low seat height which makes it perfect for smaller riders...BUT it shares the same Thrillmatic motor as it's big brother the Ultra Urban so when it's time to let loose it's got all the torque you need!

We push 52 volts of power through the Ultra Ripster's metal reinforced Thrillmatic motor so you have all the torque you want ready to go!
BUILT TOUGH
The Ultra Ripster's tig welded 4130 chromoly steel frame, fork and handlebars are both durable and lightweight. No fragile aluminum or mig welds here.
BRAKING POWER
The Ultra Ripster's hydraulic disc brakes are setup to be smooth while you cruise and responsive when you're lettin' loose!

All ZOOZ Bikes ship to the customer limited to 20MPH. Speeds vary depending on terrain ie flat smooth roads will achieve and sustain max speed easily vs hilly bumpy terrain reduces time to get to full speed and not as easy to sustain top speed. Don't forget about torque though, it helps get you to speed quicker and allows you to control the ride...ZOOZ Bikes have industry leading torque. The Ripster's 20" wheels cause more torque too fyi!
First things first, ZOOZ has real human customer support and we keep spare parts on hand. We also build bikes that are reliable and you can trust your odometer will rack up serious miles with little to no issues depending on how gnarly you ride. In general, ZOOZ Bikes are intentionally lightweight, nimble and designed for real riding. We are life long BMX and Motorcycle riders and we build bikes that are well balanced, durable, powerful and pretty. That is waaaay more genuine know-how and intention than all these clunky chunky moto wannabes you see on sale all over the internet. Ask any rider with real skills what they think for what's being said on the streets! The Ripster specifically has a whole other level of fun because it's 20" wheels add torque to the already torquey Thrillmatic motor. It's very 'flickable'!
Yes, BUT...i guarantee you there are more full grown adults riding Ripsters than you think. We design bikes for all sized riders but the Ripsters smaller size is just way too much fun to ignore.
The Ripster has a 52 volt, 15 Ah battery, that's enough juice to carry you 20 to 30 miles using just the throttle, pedaling will add to that some. Terrain and how you ride greatly affects actual range. We suggest charging your bike in preparation for longer rider in general.
ZOOZ Bikes are mechanically traditional so as long as you keep your tires and brake pads fresh you can rack up many thousands of miles. You'll notice when riding a ZOOZ Bike on bumps that there's no rattling...the chain doesnt slap etc. That's a sign that it's refined and ready. BTW now that you know that you're going to start noticing how trash all the other ebikes out there really are. Don't get me started on how well ZOOZ Bikes corner as speed compared to others too!!
Yep, so are all ZOOZ Bikes. It's part of our DNA. Our geometry (wheelbase, tire size, rider position, center of gravity and rake) are a recipe for a fast cornering, flickability and yes comfort. This is the type of consideration that went into why we started building bikes...we like to HAMMER!
