Zooz Bikes Launches Trio of Ebikes with 90’s BMX Nostalgia Packing Performance and Style

 

[Chicago] (9/10/20) Zooz Bikes, LLC. is proud to introduce its newest release, The Urban Ultralight. A true city rider’s electric bicycle will make the rider feel like Elliot from E.T. --  sailing through town on this chrome-dipped BMX promises a thrilling experience. Electric bike sales have spiked in 2020, soaking up demand from bike shops and the internet alike. As new riders race to get on anything with two wheels, many are left wanting a new jolt of fun instead of the same old bicycle.

Enter Zooz Bikes, a “cloud-based” start-up formed by a band of motorcyclists, friends, and enablers who want to bring two-wheel riding back to what it used to be – fun. Zooz has crafted an elegant and robust chassis and offers three levels of the electronic drivetrain from mild to wild.

The flagship model, The Urban Ultralight 750, is currently selling for $2000 with slower/lighter and faster/heavier options priced at $1500 and $2500. Every model keeps it simple on tech and features with “a less-is-more approach, focusing on quality components, design, and the ride instead of gadgets and racks and gimmicks”, says Co-Founder Chris Zahner. He continues, “urban dwellers are looking for exploration and excitement on top of simple mobility as social distancing measures not only affect your commute, but also minimize our daily dose of excitement. Zooz offers thrill-on-demand.”

The Zooz Urban Ultralight hits all the right nostalgia with its chrome frame and classic lines. Plus, a unique patented “banana” seat design conceals most of the electronics and leaves enough room for two riders for double the fun.

Zooz is currently taking pre-orders on its website for a discounted price to be delivered in early 2021. You can also find Zooz dipping its toes into other two-wheel pools such as the QAGOMA exhibit called The Motorcycle: Design, Art, Desire, featuring one of their concept vehicles to be displayed amongst 101 of the most influential motorcycles of the past 120 years.
