The All-New Ultra Urban
The classic, the legend, the Ultra Urban is now in it's fifth model year. For those counting, this is our "Gen4" bike, which is our internal nomenclature which started with our pilot production in 2020 of 100 bikes named Gen0.
Throughout the years, ZOOZ has maintained steadfast and scrupulous dedication to improvement and refinement to our core platform -- the UU. Through this quest for perfection and balance, our growing model line-up benefits from new components and other breakthroughs.
The new Ultra Urban represents a large step forward for the UU model, but also for ZOOZ.
The 2024 Ultra Urban features the all new THRILLMATIC motor. This all new, gear-style motor is rated at 750W but peaks at 1800W for periods as long as 6 minutes making the UU the most powerful and the most thrilling Class 2 e-bike experience. For closed course riding, the 2024 UU is able to reach speeds of 34MPH.
The 2024 Ultra Urban also now features our new battery platform, but in a new size of 20Ah (1040Wh) for a real-world range of 25-35 miles when using ONLY THE THROTTLE! While other brands like to over inflate their range claims based on unachievably ideal scenarios, our figures are based our actual testing (and we like to ride the bike at its limit).
Last major change for the UU is that we now have brought he ZOOZ STICKY SWEET tire to the UU in a new size of 24x2.6". All ZOOZ tires are specifically designed and selected for optimal handling performance for each model they are featured on.
Minor updates include the number of bottle cage mounts on the downtube being reduced from four to two. The kickstand has been relocated and improved. The steerer tube has been lengthened for headlight stem clearance and improved handling. Seat foam has been updated and improved.

THRILLMATIC MOTOR
All-new gear motor has increased torque and speed and metal/nylon gears for increased strength to stand up to sustained abuse.
FRAME - KICKSTAND
The frame now has a kickstand mounting plate integrated into the rear dropout. The new robust kickstand and position supports the bike better and eliminates the cranks from hitting and rubbing.
BATTERY
New proprietary battery housing and mounting plate features a fiber/plastic polymer injected around steel plates for superior strength, plus a redesigned, automatic locking pin offers idiot proof functionality.
STEM
Integrated LED headlight. 370 Lumens. Edited geometry for enhanced handling and clearance.
Tires
The UU Finally gets it’s own Sticky Sweet tires. 24 x 2.6.
Brakes
The gen 4 benefits from the rear 180mm, front 203mm brake rotor sizes.
